This will be a power point presentation of five unusual cases of parasites found in blood and tissue samples submitted to the laboratory for investigation. I will present an overview of the identification process for each case performed at the Public Health Laboratory (ProvLab), APL in Edmonton, Alberta. The cases will be informative and educational and would benefit everyone who has travelled or plan to travel outside the country. These parasites are the souvenirs you did not purchase or declared!!
