During this presentation, we will discuss an animal study model that reproduces the clinical and pathophysiological aspects of human kidney failure and the associated complications.
- Bone complications (renal osteodystrophies, mineralization disorders)
• Vascular complications (vascular calcifications, hypertension, and atherosclerosis)
We will then focus on the various bone and vascular complications, as well as several multidisciplinary analytical approaches that explore new therapeutic strategies aimed at preventing or mitigating bone and vascular complications in individuals with kidney failure.
